Unraveling (2025)

I unravel a sweater. There is no way of telling how long the thread is going to be.

Pull a thread - see how fabric crackles.

Cut a seam - see how far it can fall apart before becoming unrecognizable.

What comes on the other side of destruction - gentle repair by a pair of hands without a body and a lot of talking that heals the body that no longer is.

Plant yourself in the soil - see if you take root.

The system cannot remember the deepest roots, but it feels the weight.

The aim is not to prevent something from falling apart. Taking it apart to put it back together to take it apart once again. It is pointless just because you can't see it?

This is not finished. You are going to do it again.
